A downloadable toolkit for developers using Anthropic's Claude Code CLI. Fourteen files in one zip archive, for Windows, WSL, Linux and macOS. Everything runs locally on your own machine. No server, no account, no hosted component.

§ 01 · What it measures

Three readings, in absolute tokens.

Context usage on every turn, in absolute tokens rather than a percentage, with three bands: 150k watch, 300k act, 500k clear.
Fixed per-turn overhead: the size of every instruction file Claude Code re-reads on each turn, following @imports recursively, five hops deep, the way Claude Code does.
Model-pin drift across all eight precedence layers, including project-level settings that silently override a developer's own choice. The model audit exits non-zero on drift, so it works as a weekly check or a CI step.

On the machine it was built on, fixed overhead went from 14,740 tokens a turn to 1,036. That is one measured machine and one configuration, not a typical result and not a promise. Your number will be different, which is the reason to measure it.

§ 02 · Free audit, MIT

The audit scripts are free, and useful on their own.

The two audit scripts, the context audit and the model audit, are published free under the MIT licence at github.com/lhiebert01/context-floor-audit. They read files and print. They write nothing, send nothing, and ask for no email address. If your number is small, you do not need the paid kit.

Two licences, and they do not overlap. The MIT licence covers the free audit scripts only. It does not cover the paid kit. The paid kit, the installer, the status line, the runbook and the playbook, is licensed under the End User Licence Agreement (v1.0), and the EULA does not reach the free scripts.

§ 03 · Pricing

Buy it once. Updates are optional.

Both licences are one-time purchases of the same kit. Read the End User Licence Agreement (v1.0) before you buy; it is the agreement you accept at checkout.

Solo

One named developer, unlimited personal machines. Twelve months of updates included.

$249 one-time · ten seats, one company

Ten named developers in one organisation. Seats may be reassigned when someone leaves; contractors are covered while engaged. Twelve months of updates included.

30-day refund.

Purchase is on the product page. The checkout shows the EULA and requires agreement before payment. Releases are checksummed; the SHA-256 of the current kit is published on the listing.

§ 04 · Licence

The agreement, at a versioned URL.

End User Licence Agreement (v1.0) — effective 13 September 2026. Includes the Team licence addendum and the refund policy. That URL is permanent and is never edited in place; a future version gets its own URL. The stable pointer to the current version is pigenai.com/context-floor/eula/.
